Having launched our first Equiem Portal in the US just over six months ago, we're thrilled to have also been included in some of NYC's most prestigious CRE events this year. Joining as a panellist, Equiem's CEO Gabrielle McMillan has been sharing her experience and what we call "the Equiem difference" audiences all over the city. Speaking alongside NYC’s preeminent property owners and developers as well as representatives from almost every industry, she's explored how the customer experience is continuing to evolve in real estate.
Gabrielle’s natural stage presence and breadth of personal experience has made her an ideal addition to many of New York's most coveted events in property. She provided her audiences with a progressive take on CRE and brings a fresh perspective from traditional management firms.
We recap our recent events below:
Kicking off with DisruptCRE NYC event on March 29th, Gabrielle joined the stage alongside Satish Nagrani (Durst Organization), Lucia Diana (Verizon) and Tony Colonna (Skanska) for the TechTool panel. Exploring the various ways technology continues to shape our workplaces, Gabrielle shared how Equiem is allowing Landlords to support employers to win the “War for Talent” and expand their teams.

Following fantastic feedback from DisruptCRE, we began preparing for Bisnow’s “Workplace of the Future” presented by Newmark Knight Frank and hosted at Hines Realty. Having collaborated with Bisnow on publications and events in the UK, we were once again thrilled to share the stage with a fantastic lineup of speakers.
With a star-studded speaker lineup covering some of New York’s biggest names, Gabrielle was joined by Steve Durels - SL Green, Bill Edwards - Rockefeller Group, Duncan McCuaig - Brookfield and David Falk - Newmark Knight Frank.
The event also brought in a number of new-age occupants, sharing how the needs of organisations have changed. A big thank you to Tumblr, Serendipity Lab's and Shutterstock for being part of the event.
Closing out the month we Gabrielle joined another outstanding panel of experts at the NYC Commercial Real Estate Summit. Covering everything from build-out to customer experience the Summit touched on almost every facet of modern commercial property. Combined with innovative closed-door discussion, this was a true opportunity for us to share how technology is accelerating the needs of our workforce while platform’s like Equiem can help Landlords to remain competitive.
Thank you to Michael Mandel - Compstak, Jonathan Iger - Sage Realty, Steve Durels - SL Green, Michael Pollack - Ballar Spahr and Thomas Toepke - Convene, for their knowledge and insights on the day.
